The evening routine that survives Friday

Most "learning routines" die on Wednesday. Here's the version that actually makes it to the weekend.

The evening routine that survives Friday

Most learning routines die on Wednesday. By Friday you're negotiating with yourself in the kitchen, and on Saturday you've quietly written off the whole week.

The version that works

  • 20 minutes is the unit. Not an hour. Not "a session". Twenty minutes you can defend against your own tiredness.
  • One artefact a week. Not "studying". A thing that exists at the end of the week.
  • A check-in with a human. A teammate, a mentor, anyone who'll ask "what did you ship?"

That's it. That's the whole routine. The rest is just being honest about how tired you are on Thursday.
